Tips of the Trail

While on the Trails, please:

• Control dogs and pickup waste (bags, and garbage can for this purpose only, are available). Our organization is not responsible for injury that may be caused to the pet or injury to others by the pet.

• Pack in Pack out - there are no waste pick up from the trailhead. The garbage can at the trailhead is ONLY for dog waste.

• Shooting not allowed (shooting may be heard from the sheriff gun range).

• Rattlesnakes have right of way. Please be aware that rattlesnakes are common in our area.

• Respect ALL wildlife. Our organization is not responsible for injury that may be caused by wildlife.

• Do no harm (including to vegetation - do not pull nor pick flowers or plants on your own, unless specifically authorized by BTC - BTC regularly organizes weed management workdays, sponsored by BLM and Forest Service weed experts).

• Stay on only designated/marked trails. Some trails are easement through other land owners’ property, please respect them.

• Abstain from use of motorized vehicles on the grounds with the exception of the trail-head.
