This week, we will modify our Wednesday Work Evening to a all-day DIY event to avoid groups and allow time and space for social distancing.
A trash can will be set at the trailhead in the morning of March 25th (around 8:00 AM), and will be picked up in the evening (around 8:00 PM) and brought to the dump. Trash bags will be there too.
You can help us by picking up the remaining of the dog poop around the trailhead. Areas that really need cleaning are:
from the trailhead to the gates at the bottom of Grand Canyon/Quick Gully trail (Paintbrush junction) and going toward Tim’s Ridge (take left at Dragonfly Junction)
and from the trailhead to the power line (toward Fox Junction).
We will also be cleaning up the bottom of Pete's Gully trail by piling up the remainder of the straw on the piles, and adding rocks to make Pete’s Gully trail more visible. Someone from BTC will be there from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
***Bring your own gloves***
Participate in the fun, and help us bring awareness to the trails by taking a selfie/before-and-after-picture of your clean-up, and post it on the Beaveread Trails Coalition instagram or facebook page with the hashtag #beaverheadtrailscoalition!!
Remember to record your volunteer hours here to help us with grant writing. Thank you so much!
