Hey Everyone,

As the weather is warming and the snow has melted, it has become increasingly apparent that there is a major dog poop problem on the High Trails. In an effort to curtail the problem before the spring plant growth and beautiful wildflowers start to bloom, we will be encouraging an “at-your-own-time” trails cleanup event through the rest of the month of May.

We will have trash bags and dog poop bags available at the trailhead and are asking hikers to help pick up dog waste along the trails. You can do this at your own pace and whenever is convenient to you.

As a gentle reminder to dog owners, there are aways dog bags with a trash can available at the trailhead.
