Please join The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, The Beaverhead Trails Coalition and Elkhorn Hot Springs for a National Winter Trails Day event, January 10th from 11-2. Activities include winter and wildlife learning stations, free coffee, hot chocolate and treats inside the Elkhorn Forest Service Cabin (located just above the hot spring pools). There will be a limited number of kid sized snow shoes available to try for free, or you can bring your own skis and snow shoes. The Elkhorn Cross-Country Ski Trails are free to the public and open to both snow shoes and cross-country skiing. Adjacent to the cross-country ski trails are many miles of groomed snowmobile trails.
