The USFS is working on a project to restore Wildflower Trail on Lemhi Pass this summer. They will be hosting a trail work week on July 24-28th, with the National Smoke Jumpers and would love to have your help! All meals will be provided!
Volunteers are welcome at any time on any of those days, or for multiple days and set up a tent!
Please fill out the meal sheet on when you plan on coming so the cook can plan accordingly. Once we have a volunteer group form, Dan Downey, our President will send that in as well. This form will cover any injuries that could occur when working on the trail, (although we anticipate zero!). Trail work includes clearing down fall, doing on tread work, etc. You can send the form back to Bill Kolar (address on the page), or scan and send to beaverheadtrails@gmail.com. They need to know of food by July 3rd, so please plan ahead!
This is a fun and unique opportunity to help out the USFS, and get some great trail building experience that we can bring back to our own trails. Hope to see you there!
